1. Bring-A-Friend, this Saturday 9am.

Got a friend who’s been curious about Tectonic? This is the perfect time to bring them in. Our Bring-A-Friend workout is designed to be approachable for all levels, with scaling options to meet beginners right where they are—no experience needed.

Class is free for everyone, so invite a friend, neighbor, or family member and come train together.

Have your guest save time and fill out their waiver ahead of class.

And if they’re up for it, friends are welcome to stick around afterward for Deep Stretch at 10am—a great way to recover and wind down.

2. Deep Stretch with Consuelo: Saturdays at 10am

Slow down, lengthen out, and give your body the recovery it deserves. Join Consuelo every Saturday in April at 10am for Deep Stretch, a guided session focused on improving flexibility, mobility, and overall movement quality. Thank you for all who have joined us so far, keep coming! (Free to members with unlimited memberships.)

4. Spring Programming Review

We’re kicking off a new 7 week training cycle called Novus, running from April 6 – May 18. We’re dialing things back to basics so we can build a stronger foundation for the months ahead.

What to expect:

  • Strength: Slower, more controlled work (pauses, isometrics, positioning)

  • Olympic Lifting: Focus on technique and movement quality

  • Conditioning: Still challenging, with more longer, steady efforts

  • Goal: Move better, build strength, and set yourself up for long-term progress

We'll Kick Off:

  • We’ll kicked things off with a baseline workout: “Tick, Tick, Boom”

  • Strength builds progressively across the cycle and finishes with retesting in Week 7

  • Murph prep begins in the second half of the cycle

  • Expect a mix of intervals, endurance work, and classic functionalfitness workouts

Strength Tests:
We’ll track progress with the following lifts:

  • Weighted Strict Pull-Up – 1 Rep Max

  • Pause Strict Press – 3 Rep Max

  • Pause Front Squat – 1 Rep Max

Benchmark Workout:
“Tick, Tick, Boom”
3 Rounds for Time:

  • 500/400m Row

  • 20 American KB Swings

  • 20 Lateral Burpees Over Rower

  • Rest 2 minutes between rounds

Note: This workout starts a longer progression and will be retested in a future cycle.

Big Picture: This is your chance , focus on quality, and rebuild strong movement patterns. Less racing, more intention.
